This is my new drink obsession!! After trying Starbuck’s new golden milk latte drink, I was definitely inspired to make my own. I mean you guys already know my obsession with turmeric. I put it in pretty much everything from smoothies to lemon water to soups. It has amazing benefits, which we will discuss, and adds a unique taste.
In this latte, the turmeric combined with the ginger, cinnamon, and coconut milk creates a delicious, creamy flavor. This drink will make you feel refreshed and satisfied!
How to make an Iced Golden Ginger Latte:
Ingredients:
- turmeric
- ginger
- cinnamon
- maple syrup
- black pepper
- coconut milk
How to make:
Add all of the ingredients into a blender and then blend together. Add 1 cup coconut milk and 1/4 cup ice to a glass, then pour 1/2 cup of the turmeric mixture on top and serve!
Benefits of Turmeric:
Turmeric has many beneficial properties including:
- anti-inflammatory properties
- anti-oxidant properties
- anti-bacterial properties
Turmeric has been studied for its role in cancer prevention and possibly cancer treatment.

How much turmeric do we need:
- it is recommended to have 1/4 tsp a day!
- add a dash of black pepper in to increase the body’s ability to absorb turmeric

Ingredients
- 3 cups coconut milk
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- dash of black pepper
- 1 cup ice
